It's never too early to begin thinking about the Sweetcorn Festival.  Taking place in the heart of downtown Urbana, the Sweetcorn Festival welcomes 50,000 visitors to the Urbana area each August.  The Festival could be a great place to promote your business, reach new customers and have fun at the same time.  Call the UBA at 344-3872 for more information and to receive a vendor packet or download them from here.

Volunteers

The Urbana Sweetcorn is the largest festival taking place and is run almost entirely by our great volunteers.  We have awesome volunteer opportunities in various areas of the festival ranging from Pepsi server to working in the corn tent to serving beer.  Without our volunteers this festival wouldn't be in the great place it is today!  The Festival is always recruiting volunteers.  Call 344-4872 or email susan@urbanabusiness.com for more information!

12th Annual Motor Muster

The Motor Muster is one of the most exciting events to take place at the Sweetcorn Festival!  Each year, the Motor Muster presents a new theme for their car show.  Car enthusiasts and casual fans come together to view luxury vehicles, orphan makes and a wide variety of other muscle and sports cars.  Visitors have the chance to participate in a people's choice awards to their favorite cars.  The Motor Muster takes place on Saturday, August 23rd from 10:30 AM-4:00 PM on the County Plaza Parking deck on the corner of Main and Broadway in the heart of the festival!  Check back soon to hear what this year's theme will be!

5K & 10K Volksmarches

Volksmarches are non-competitive walks along designated trails taking place this year on Saturday, August 23rd.  Walkers have the choice of doing a 5K (3.1 mile) or 10K (6.2 mile) trails.  Participants explore the city's parks and side streets to discover the historical sights and nature they've never seen in Urbana.  The walks are free and fun.  For more information contact Mike, Ridgewalkers Walking Club, 355-1704 or mbalough@balogh.com.
