WHY SOCIAL MEDIA MATTERS
The Urbana Business Association is excited to bring you Social Media Matters presented by Carl Catedral. On November 3rd, 10th, and 17th Carl Catedral will provide businesses with the tools they need to be successful in an online age.This 3 week workshop will focus on Why Social Media Matters, Using Video to Tell YOUR Small Biz Story, and Managing Social Media Platforms. Each workshop will take place at the Urbana Civic Center from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Give your organization a marketing leg up by participating in this 3 week series!
Registration for each workshop is $10 for UBA members and $12 for non UBA members!
Carl is the co-founder of Adjacency, a creative agency based out of Downtown Urbana, where he works on social media, video, and other fun creative things. He graduated from Arizona State University in 2010 and immediately was able to leverage his early exposure to social media platforms to help small businesses take advantage of Facebook and Twitter for branding and marketing. Since then, Carl has continued to guide small businesses to use social media as a tool for communicating their message and connecting with their target audience. In his three-part workshop series, Carl will cover why social media is important for your business, how to become a better visual storyteller, and what tools and strategies you need to take the next steps.
